♫ Song of the day - Do It by Nelly Furtado ♪

haha. what a day.
today went Johor and got my hair dyed+cut! Patronised our regular salon mom and I go to when we go there to do braces =) kinda lyk the haircut but I think it'd look even better when it grows long (cos I think for me, usually I first cut it'd either be toot-lookin or I am just not accustomed to the haircut because I am not 100% satisfied with the fringe - mainly because it'd be too short or it'd look weird! ok! I'm fussy lah! but can't help it if you have a squarish round face! =@)

haha. the salon owner's son help me cut. he reminds me of Grace's friend Quansoon actually but I think .. he looks better? cos better hair. haha. and he said I look cute when I complained of my face shape! LOL. then he said something like beauty is not for long but cute is for long. so I guess I'd be a cute grandma like liang po po (Eeee) GAHA. jk. but I'd rather be pretty than cute cos (I know this is lame) cute means adorable but ugly! (HMM. according to my "childhood" diary. yeah. we used to exclaim that to people) gaha. he also say I speak like Japanese and look Japanese? HOHOHO. but Japanese don't have big faces ! T.T.. they value small faces according to an article I read.

ok enough of that. anyway, I'm gonna rant about other random things (so long never blog! thus all the blog cells are activated! bwa ha ha?) today I dreamt I was late for a Chinese Compo test! and I think I was so panic-y having a red chinese diary didn't help. LOL. totally random but it just proves that the subconscious mind is so related/connected to the reality (yes! my mandarin in chinese really sucks. not that I'm proud of it, but it's a fact so =/) ? gotta hand it to those really "effectively" bilingual people who excels so well at both English and Mandarin, and know their dialects! somehow, I wish I am one of those people haha. and I admire Jay Chou's (heard he got some blood disorder?) effort (at least he tried) in having at least one Zhong Guo Feng song in each of his album! boy, is that man talented! read his mama let him learn piano when he's young and basketball too. I SOo wanna learn piano! >_>

ah, anyway today is Vesak Day and I saw two people (1 downstairs my house and 1 in Msia) wanting to fight. so weird! and then there was the jam (expected) at the Causeway. oh yeah, so happy =) bought many earrings (earrings there are so cheap! but ok lah bet China sells cheaper), 2 TW magazines (spent a total of RM17/S$8.50 for that. TW Mags are cheaper there =>). and Mom and me ate at KFC @ Holiday Plaza and a certain Stonegrill restaurant at the mall near the Causeway (forgot the name haha). both sucks unfortunately >_> . for the Stonegrill place, mom complained that they prefer to stand around and talk rather than clear plates. and they are also very uninitiative. like people order ice-cream to share they'd just give one spoon. oh well.

on this trip I discovered two things.

One, that what Nancy said about being with someone with the same social standing as you is very important- I totally understand now because it's just easier this way, and it puts less of a strain in the relationship. like how if you get someone overtly richer than you and smarter than you, somehow somewhere they'd put you down or you'd not feel good enough/you'd be tired of trying so much to keep up with them (but majority of it depends on the individual/party tho, whether they're sensitive enough and are understanding, blahblahblah) similarily, if you're with someone less off than you, and also less educated than you, surely, at some point, problems will set in (lazy to think of what problems haha cos this is much more complicated). But of course there's a few fortunate people who overcame all odds and are together (much like those dramas). guess Love made the difference, and I'm happy for them. unfortunately, I have yet to hear of such story. haha but I believe they do exist! =)

Two, I like lights and purple! haha. like I know of some people who love the sky or something (like JH and Chris) but I like lights haha. coincidentally, my name reading or whatsoever is connected to the word illumination. gaha. and of late, deep purple just rocks my socks. It's like the new black for me, GAHA.

ok it's getting late.
gotta wake up early for work tomorrow! =@
