went my mom's office after wrk.supposed to "learn sewing n stuffs" but din end up unpicking a whole lotta thread. being a tailor is not easy, I realised. It's quite sian too..haha..I hope I learn more things.I wanna design fab clothes for the unused 1-2M of silk fabric (woO~! feel so nice.I LOVE SILK MANS) I bought for my CDS 21st Century Fashion last sem!

I'm thinking of those classic elegant tops for both cloths.the white cloth can only make a skirt/top (preferrably a top) n the black 1 can make into 2 tops/skirts (so I think I'd go for a top n a skirt).its better investment then a dress? I'm too fat for a dress anyway.lol!

but gotta wait til Hari Raya over when she's more free.I hope I wont b so busy since school alr started then.Got my timetable today (got 7 ppl I know same class as me.it'd b a mini reunion mans!)

oh ya, mom helped me alter my "pass me down" Guess oversized Jeans to a skirt! (hard work it seems)
I'm gonna DIY on it with my iron-on crystals! =D If only I have a fab phone (which I was intending to get but gotta wait til xmas where theres more promos -.-) tts so handy I can take pics to post up..

but I dont have a fab phone =( k700i's data transfer cable dun wrk n e more T-T..but I think its still a relatively good phone overall lah still..its v "nai", nv die on me within the 2 yrs..its my 1st phone!

oh yah..
today's newspaper featured this poor family which survived on $500 (dad's income per month)..the family got lyk 2 sons..eat maggie mee everyday.. the father of the family recently committed suicide 2 days ago by jumping in front of a MRT train..his body is split into 3..its like so tragic..

my dad says the wife din even haf money go c the body.police actually gave her money.then the coffin of the man is oso donated..

I thought sg should be quite "well-to-do" or not have so many poor ppl like other countries.but I guess I'm wrong..
we r really lucky..

Stepping Out (my sis likes it!) I think potrays wad life is like in the past somehow. such shows would give us youngsters an insight of our ancestor's life- tt life was hard then. then hopefully we'd feel ashamed at the way we take our blessings for granted, n appreciate more of life now..

ahh..this reminds me of a man I met on the bridge. he looked at me n smiled with a walking stick. I asked if he needed help.. then he started talking about last time money was a few cents -.-.. tt he was knocked down tts y now cant walk properly. then doc says his bone break, dont even fit him wif prosthetic leg..he wanted to blabber on but I din hear him out bcos my bus came =/ I dunno leh..I scared he wanna tell me his whole life story.then I'm running late for the critic session of the color expedition le..so I went off.
I only wanted help him up the stairs..haha..

but ya lah.. most of us r such lucky ppl now. I feel very blessed. we should count our blessings!
