heartbreakin
man..its heartbreakin..juz got back from the hospital visitin ahma..my tang gu's mom.
she had dengue..shes so old alr..90+.
at first my younger bro shouted at me tt mom told us to get ready..but I thot he is lyin bcos he wan me to "come out from the 3rd floor or someting" .. -.- but it was true..
I knew so when sis shouted at me askin me to get ready to go hospital.then she said "lim por" is in hospital cos got dengue..not before long mom n dad came.
I kinda wanted to do my proj n not go..but I felt tt I should go, so I went..so its on our way to Tan Tock Seng Hospital. never been there before.
I thought her condition wasnt so serious u know..
but when I saw breathin tubes stuck into her to help her breathe, I knew tt its quite serious.
N havin had dengue b4, I felt really sorry for her.
It was bad enuf for me.Im so young (it happened last yr) n I felt so horrible alr. cant imagine she had to go thru it.

I think shes nt very conscious. really, my heart broke when I saw her at the bed.afterall, I know havin tubes poke into u isnt exactly comfortable. its painful (I kno from sis..) N she haf 3 somemore. 1 in her nose, 1 as the drip, 1 for the urine. I dunno if she had more or wad but I only know 3..=/

n my aunt was there too. we talked to her.
n sis n I saw lim po's hands. n its swollen. aunt told us tt lim por bled at her hands, because her blood count is very low. N also told us tt she has pneumonia (man!ahgong died of tt..), her kidney oso nt very good..she haf a weak heart as well...
3 aunts takin turns to look after her now.
the doctor say they might not be able to resuscitate her if she stopped breathin bcos it'd break her fragile bones..then, granny will breathe her last.
at tt moment, I suddenly was reminded of an episode from Grey's Anatomy..
dad say she probably wun last 3 days..
mom told aunt they shld get ready the coffin alr, to prevent the hospital staff from putting her in "the fridge".
n den I got reminded of ah gong's death as well.
he fell down at the garden.. den was hospitalized. at first he is ok.then later he fell into a coma or sorts, n grew thinner n thinner,before developin pneumonia..n then, he died.
then granny is growing thinner as well (i think) n all I was thinkin is..is tt wads life is in the end?
getting wrinkled, developing pigmentation (those brown spots) being sick, havin all kinds of sickness..then later at the end, have coma, those diseases or serious condition, then breathing ur last breath before dying..then u'll see the light n ur died loved ones, waitin 4 u at the light.. (ala the Ghost Whisperer?)

can't imagine what it'd be like if I'm dying and haven got any 1 family wif me.pity those who died alone..=//
I guess tts wad life is. to have ur OWN family..
all those happy memories b4 the end of ur life.then its the after life..?
then I prayed for her.. she jerked/moved or something..then I stopped prayin. when I opened my eyes all the tears juz came flowin out man. at first they cldnt take her blood pressure cos her pressure's too weak.den they did manually n cant even get a readin..but after my prayer, they cld, miraculously..!! =)
kinda think God answer my prayer..
I dont know if I further pray, or get my CGM to pray fer her or something, whether there'd be a miracle.but shes really weak alr.the breathin tube is the only thing tt is sustaining her.
furthermore ahgong, who was so zhuang as a old man, died 1 wk later..he grew thinner n thinner (maybe he is depleting his life force/energy-thus growin thinner n thinner..then until he lyk about none left so it was his time?)but granny isnt as zhuang as ahgong!! ahgong, when he was alive, is quite..umm..fat? (ok fa fu la) but granny is not!!!!

and I asked Him to relieve her pain..n be with her always. after all, I think shes either a christian or catholic..
